Florida A&M freshman guard Justin Ravenal was named the
Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for Men’s Basketball on Monday.
The 6-1, 175-pound guard from Lithonia, Georgia, had 37
points, seven rebounds and two steals in three games last week, knocking down
nine three-pointers during that span.
His jumper with three seconds left Saturday completed a 22-8
finishing flurry to lift the Rattlers to a 73-71 win over Alcorn State in the
Corpus Christi Coastal Classic.
