Stoudamire named MEAC Rookie of the Week

Florida A&M University freshman Jamesia Stoudamire was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Stoudamire (INF, 5-9, Fr., Lake Wales, Fla.) went 6-for-12 at the plate in four games against Troy and Mercer. She hit two home runs in a doubleheader against Mercer. She also stole two bases and drew two walks.
