FAMU Head Football Coach Willie Simmons and his assistants aren't the only ones hitting the road recruiting new Rattlers to the fold. Yesterday, FAMU President Larry Robinson hit the road to recruit new scholars at Florida State College Jacksonville on his 2019 President’s Tour.
Students enjoyed a personal recruitment fair, a new FAMU Connection storyline – with new choreography – and opportunities to ask Vice President of Student Affairs William E. Hudson and other University leaders and faculty questions one-on-one.
Robinson made a special appeal to area high school and community college students and their families about why they should choose FAMU. The stop is a part of Robinson's strategic enrollment management plan to attract top students to the university.
Robinson also went on a President's Tour to recruit new students during the Fall 2018 semester, the Spring tour is his closing argument.
