The FAMU Rattlers beat North Carolina Central 73-57 last night to improve to 10-14 overall, 7-2 MEAC. The win moved FAMU into 2nd place in the MEAC, behind conference leader Norfolk State 8-0 MEAC/ 13-10 overall.
The Rattlers coasted to victory on the back of senior guard Justin Ravenel who had 25 points, including five 3-pointers, and sophomore guard Kameron Reaves who had 23 points.
FAMU lead the Eagles 41-28 at halftime.
Next up for the Rattlers are the Howard Bisons on Saturday, February 9th in Lawson. The Bison will be shorthanded, with three of their players suspended for taking part in a brawl following the Howard - Norfolk State game in D.C.
