The FAMU women’s softball team won 2 games of a 3-game road stand against South Carolina State yesterday beating the Bulldogs 15-5 and 6-1. Weather permitting, the two teams will play game three tomorrow.
FAMU improved to 20-23 on the season, 11-0 MEAC.
Last week, FAMU pounded NC A&T,10-2,13-2, and 13-2, to win a 3-game series in Greensboro, NC.
The Lady Rattlers are currently ranked #1 in the HBCU (D1) softball poll.
