The FAMU Lady Rattlers blew past the Hornets of Delaware State 9-4 in the opening round of theMEAC Softball Tournament in Ormond Beach Sports Complex yesterday afternoon. FAMU improved to 23-24 on the season, 14-2 MEAC. They will face the Spartans of Norfolk State this afternoon at 3 p.m.
The Rattlers entered the tournament tied for first place, with BCU, in the MEAC Southern Division.
