The Lady Rattler softball team bounced back from the elimination bracket by beating Howard 8-5 yesterday. They will face BCU in the championship game today at noon.
Earlier this week, the Lady Rattlers lost to the Wildcats and were sent to the elimination bracket. FAMU has won 14 softball championships, and had its five-year grip on the championship snapped by BCU last year.

The Rattler team dropped a three game series to the Aggies of NC A&T, 1-2. The victory by the Aggies gives them the No. 1 spot in the MEAC baseball south division. The Rattlers finished in second place. Both teams earned the right to play in the MEAC baseball championship which starts next week in Daytona Beach.
