Allyson Watson has been appointed the dean of the FAMU College of Education. Prior to accepting the job at FAMU she was the dean of the College of Education at University of South Florida St. Petersburg, and assistant dean at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
She received her bachelor’s from Bethune-Cookman University and earned her masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Watson starts on July 1.
