FAMU basketball lead the MEAC & SWAC conferences in home attendance for 2018-19

The FAMU mens' basketball team finished the 2018-19 season as the MEAC attendance leader, according to data from the NCAA.  With 10 home games in the Al Lawson Center the Rattlers drew a total of 27, 558 fans for the 2018-19 season.  The average per-game attendance was 2,756.

FAMU finished 2nd among all HBCUs in basketball attendance.  Only Hampton drew more home fans with 60,776 over 15 games, for an average of 4,052 fans per game.   In the MEAC, NC A&T came in 2nd in attendance with a total of 27,409 fans over 13 games for an average of 2,108 fans per game.
