FAMU football team has entered into a three-game series to play the USF Bull in Tampa. The contract calls for games on September 18, 2021, September 23, 2023, and September 18, 2027. The 2021 game will mark the first meeting between the two schools since USF’s 51-3 victory in 2015.
USF will pay FAMU $450k in 2021, $465k in 2023, and $475k in 2027.
USF would owe FAMU $1.39 million if the Bulls cancel the first game prior to 9/19/2021; $949k for the second game between 9/18/2021-9/24/2023; $475k for the third game between 9/23/2023-9/19/2027. FAMU would owe USF a whopping $2.78 million if the Rattlers canceled the first game.
