Eleven FAMU football players were named to the 2019 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Preseason All-Conference team late last month, as voted on by MEAC head football coaches and sports information directors.
The announcements were made at the MEAC's annual Football Press Luncheon held in Norfolk, Va.
Two Rattlers --- Place Kicker Yahia Alyand Punter Chris Faddoul--- earned All-MEAC First Team honors.
QB Ryan Stanley, RB Deshawn Smith, WR Xavier Smith, and DB Terry Jeffersonearned All-MEAC Second Team honors. RB Bishop Bonnette, WR Chad Hunter, DL Demontre Moore, LB Elijah Richardson, and DB Herman Jackson, Jr., were all named to the All-MEAC Third Team.
