Leaders of Florida's four HBCUs will gather on the FAMU campus this morning to discuss opportunities, challenges, common goals, and ways the institutions can work together to educate Florida's Black students.
The four will likely discuss their individual impact on their communities but also look at ways they can look at ways they can partner together to make them even more successful and effective in educating the state's workforce. Combining efforts from high schools, community colleges, two- and four-year universities, and businesses can help students secure well-paying jobs. By collaborating and breaking down silos and sharing information aligning interests the four can become even more successful in gaining funding at the state and federal levels.
