The FAMU Presidential Search Committee invites the FAMU Community to participate in a series of community listening sessions aimed at shaping the presidential profile and guiding the search process for the university's next president. These sessions are designed to ensure that the next president reflects the values and aspirations of the diverse FAMU community.
Moderated by Myers McRae, FAMU’s executive search firm, the sessions will last approximately 60-90 minutes and will be held today, February 17th, in the Multipurpose Room of the H. Manning Efferson Student Union Building on campus. The schedule for the in-person listening sessions is as follows:
Open Forum for Staff/Administrator at 9:00 a.m.
Open Forum for Faculty at 11:00 a.m.
Open Forum for Students at 2:00 p.m.
Open Forum for Alumni/Community at 6:00 p.m. (in-person and virtual)

For those unable to attend in person, there is also an option to participate online by submitting your thoughts here. Your input will be invaluable to the Presidential Search Committee as they define the expectations for the position and develop a leadership profile that will attract top presidential candidates to the university.
