FAMU is among the nation’s most highly selective HBCUs according, the underlying data, from the Princeton Reviews 2020 college ranking and guide of best colleges, released on August 27, 2019.
According to the data, FAMU is the third most selective HBCU based on acceptance rate, avg. SAT and ACT scores of FTIC students admitted, and the avg., GPA of the freshman class.
Although, Princeton Review does not rank HBCUs separately, Rattler Nation used the underlying data on each college/university and applied it against the latest US News & World Report ranking of top 10 HBCUs to compile the above chart.
