FAMU engineering professors developing STEM Cells with high-tech foam

Yan Li and Changchun Zeng, two FAMU associate professors at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering have received a $400,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to explore ways to better control the fate of stem cells by using high-tech foam.
Their work could improve drug screening, disease modeling, precision medicine and cell therapy. 
Li is an associate professor in chemical and biomedical engineering, while Zeng is an associate professor in industrial and manufacturing engineering.
