NAACP President & CEO Derrick Johnson to serve as MLK Convocation Speaker

Derrick Johnson, President & CEO of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will serve as FAMU's Martin Luther King, Jr, Convocation Speaker on Thursday, January 16, at 10:10 a.m. in Gaither Gymnasium. 

Johnson, a graduate of Tougaloo College, has served as President/CEO of the NAACP since October 2017.  He previously served as President of the Mississippi State Conference of the NAACP.
