For the season year in a row, FAMU will be searching for a new head women’s basketball coach. Yesterday, AD Kortne Gosha issued a short four sentence announcement indicating that coach Kevin Lynum will not return for the 2020-21 season and that a “national search” for a new coach will begin immediately.
Lynum took over the program on February 12, 2019, after coach LeDawn Gibson was dismissed mid-season. In his only full year as head coach he led the Lady Rattlers to a 6-21 record. His overall record at FAMU was 7-26.
