FAMU lifted its campus curfew, Friday, since the COVID-19 positivity rate has declined and remained at low level.  “If there is a spike, the University reserves the right to revisit a curfew or any other measures on campus. Also, students must continue to adhere to our Emergency Procedure Guidelines,” a statement from the Dean of Students said.

Those protocols include:
  • Wearing a facial covering
  • Practicing social distancing
  • Practicing good hygiene
  • Submitting to a digital thermometer check when entering offices
  • Notifying Student Health and staying in the residence hall if having symptoms, or if you have been in close contact with some who tested positive, for COVID-19
Students, faculty and staff must continue to take the self-assessment on the FAMU app daily before arriving on campus or attending class.
