FAMU Coop Extension to discuss "Personal and Family Pandemic Preparedness" Thursday

This week the FAMU Cooperative Extension Program, within the College of Agriculture and Food Sciences, will host a virtual “chat and chew”.  

The topic of conversation is: “Personal and Family Pandemic Preparedness:  What to Do when COVID, Flu and Cold Season Converge?”  Tanya Tatum, MHA, Director, FAMU Student Health Services, will lead the discussion.
 
Among the topics to be addressed are:  Is your family ready for a second wave of COVID?;  Knowing the difference between COVID and the common cold/flu; and COVID and the upcoming holidays.
 
The virtual meeting will take place this Thursday, November 12, at 1:00 p.m.  You can register for the zoom event here.   The FAMU Cooperative Extension helps people improve their lives by bringing the vast knowledge and resources of the university directly to individuals, communities and businesses across the Big Bend region.
