Aggies beat Rattlers 8-2 in baseball, Softball team pauses activities again

The FAMU baseball team (12-21, 6-3 MEAC) lost to the NC A&T Aggies 8-2 in Greensboro yesterday.
 
FAMU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning, before surrendering eight runs in the fourth and fifth.  The Aggies held the Rattlers to just three hits all afternoon.  With the loss, the Rattlers are now on a four-game losing streak.

The series continues with a today with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. 

Softball team pauses activities
Meanwhile, the Lady Rattlers softball team paused team activities for the second time this season due to COVID-19 protocols involving the program's Tier 1 personnel, which consists of student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

With the change, the Rattlers will not participate in the MEAC Round-Up Tournament April 16-18 in Orangeburg, S.C.
