The FAMU baseball team coming off a three-game losing streak after dropping two games to MEAC foe Norfolk State last Sunday and a game to future SWAC conference foe Alabama State on Tuesday head to NC for a four-game series against NC A&T today through Sunday.  FAMU is 12-20, 6-2 MEAC, while A&T is 9-24, 4-8 MEAC.

A&T is coming off a midweek defeat at the hands of N.C. State. They split last weekend's conference series against N.C. Central.

FAMU is the number one team in the MEAC southern division while NCAT is dead last. However, the Rattlers have the lowest team batting average (.220) in the league, but the  rarely make a mistake on defense with a league-high .972 fielding percentage. The Rattler pitchers have tallied a 6.25 ERA as a staff this season, good for second in the conference.  First pitch this afternoon is at 4 p.m.
