Graphic design students win 17 ADDY awards

Fifteen FAMU graphic design students won 17 American Advertising Federation (AAF) ADDY® awards. The students competed in serval categories ranging from logo design to advertisement.  Four FAMU students won the coveted gold awards.

"When our graphics students win 17 ADDY® awards, it shows how the program has succeeded to produce quality work," said Professor Anosh Gill, interim director of the graphics design division in the School of Journalism and Graphics Communications. "It is a success story of a great partnership between students and professors."

 

"It feels amazing to win multiple awards," said Jaden Holloman, multiple gold ADDY® award recipient. "It makes me feel seen as a Black designer and that I can potentially go on to be successful as a professional graphic designer."
