Eakins, who is based in Jacksonville, FL, describes himself as a serial entrepreneur, has worked for the past two years with a distiller to develop his proprietary whiskey formula that includes natural Florida spices with a hint of vanilla.

DuBlase is the second small batch whiskey, that we know of, launched by an HBCU grad.
