The FAMU men's basketball team traveled over 1,400 miles to Puerto Rico last week for what they are calling their "inaugural foreign tour" under head coach Robert McCullum.
"The trip was both rewarding and fulfilling in several ways," said coach McCullum. "The trip provided our coaching staff the opportunity to experiment and play different lineups, and provided an opportunity for great team bonding."

We can't tell you who they played or why they were there
We can't really tell you which teams the Rattlers faced during their stay in P.R., because neither the FAMU Athletics press release, or any of the men's basketball team social media accounts, provided the names of the Rattlers opponents. Additionally, the FAMU athletics website didn't have the games listed any where on it.
Nor can we tell you the circumstances surrounding the basketball team's travel to PR to play ball in August. Was this a tournament? Exhibition? What?
It's baffling how this basic information could be missing given that FAMU has four people working in the "athletic communications and digital strategy office."
Nonetheless, the athletic communications staff did manage to provide the following game recap, yesterday, two full days after the last game was played.
