The FAMU Volleyball team got a little bit of payback last
night as it avenged an early season loss to Jackson State. The Tigers swept the September 24 series
against the Lady Rattlers in Jackson, MS, 3-0. Last night the Lady Rattlers
brought out their broom sweeping the previously unbeaten, in conference play, Tigers
(25-22, 26-24, 25-22).
The victory gave the Lady Rattlers their 13th 3-0 decision
of the season, and helped the team improve to 16-6, 8-2 SWAC.
The Lady Rattlers travel to Grambling State for a three-game
series of matches against GSU, Texas Southern (Oct. 30), and Arkansas-Pine
Bluff (Oct. 31)
