FAMU graduates 600 at Fall Commencement

FAMU held its  fall commencement ceremony on Friday, sending off nearly 600 new college graduates into the world.

Graduates were limited to up to eight tickets for guests, and were encouraged to follow COVID safety protocols. 

T.J. Rose, a, FAMU alumnus and member of the FAMU Foundation board, was the commencement speaker. Rose is a partner at Abry Partners, an information and business services private equity firm which manages more than $13 billion of capital.

Rose graduated with honors in civil engineering from FAMU before earning his M.B.A from Harvard Business School. 

Rose has nearly 20 years of experience in private equity, having previously held positions at Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area and the Audax Group, a $9 billion private equity firm.
