FAMU has partnered with Bisk, a global leader in online education, offer more online master’s degree programs in the STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — area.  STEM careers are in high demand with steady growth over the last 10 years, faster than any other occupation.

FAMU and Bisk will offer flexible online learning options for broader accessibility to FAMU’s STEM Degree Program. Specifically, Bisk’s Learning Design Team will convert FAMU’s Master of Science degree programs in biology, chemistry, and physics to fully online learning platforms. The Bachelor of Architecture 5th Year Commuter Program and Master of Science in Facilities Management will also be converted to fully online.

“We are excited about this partnership and the opportunity it provides to expand the University’s digital footprint,” said Genyne Boston, Ph.D., FAMU associate provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs. “Our collaborative efforts with Bisk will expand online course offerings and enrich the student learning experience.”

Neither FAMU, or Bisk, mentioned when the new online degrees programs would be available in their recent press release
