Rattlers fare well in postseason SWAC football honors

Six members of the FAMU Rattler football team earned first-team All-SWAC honors, the conference announced Monday.  The all-conference teams and individual award winners were voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.

Running Back Bishop Bonnett, and Offensive Lineman Keenan Forbes were selected for first team offensive honors.  While Linebacker Isaiah Land, Defensive Back Markquese Bell, and Defensive Back BJ Bohlerearned first team defensive honors.  Place Kicker Jose Romo-Martinez earned first team special team honors. 

Isaish Land was named SWAC Defensive Player of the Year.
