Rattler basketball team honors seniors at BCU game.
The Rattler men’s basketball team used a hot second half  to defeat SWAC and in-state rival Bethune-Cookman 84-73 in front of a home crowd of 4,687 in the Al Lawson Center.  The victory avenges the Rattlers earlier season loss to the Wildcats on January 3, in Daytona.

The Rattlers finished the regular season with a 13-16 overall record and 11-7 SWAC.
 
FAMU had four players score in double figures – M.J. Randolph (19), D.J. Jones (18), Johnny Brown (16), and Kamron Reeves (14). 
 
The Rattlers shot 80 percent from the free throw line, and 44 percent from 3- pt range.
 
The victory gave the Rattlers the #4 seed heading into Cricket SWAC Championship Tournament next week.  FAMU will face the #5 seed Bulldogs of Alabama A&M on Thursday, March 10 at 8:30 pm in Birmingham, AL, on ESPN+.
 
Lady Rattlers fall to BCU
On the women’s side of the ball, the Lady Rattlers were routed in their season finale by the Lady Wildcats 82-40.  It was the teams’ third loss by 40 points or more this season.  And, their seventh loss by more than 25 points.
 
The Lady Rattlers finished the season 3-26, 4-14 SWAC (includes a forfeit win).
