The FAMU women’s tennis team’s season came to an end yesterday after the #6 seed Rattlers dropped a 4-0 decision to #1 seed Jackson State in the SWAC Championship tournament in New Orleans.
Early on in the Championship, the Rattlers were able to pull off an upset victory over #4 seed Alabama A&M to advance to the semifinal round.
The Rattlers ended the season with a 7-14 record, 5-4 SWAC.
