FAMU President Larry Robinson, and wife Sharon Robinson, helped to make the Christmas holidays a little brighter for Big Bend families in need by collecting nearly 1,000 toys, books, bikes, gifts, and gift cards during the President’s annual Holiday Toy Drive.
FAMU faculty, administrators, staff, students, and alumni, pitched in by donating items which were distributed to local agencies which help the community’s less fortunate.
“My favorite part of Christmas as a child was opening gifts on Christmas Day," said President Robinson. "Sharon and I wanted to make sure that kids in our community, regardless of their family circumstance, experience that same joy. We hope that our efforts brings smiles to kids faces.”
