FAMU women beat AAMU 69-67 in OT buzzer beater

The FAMU (4-15, 26) women’s basketball team
 defeated Alabama A&M (8-10,6-2)  69-67 in the Al Lawson Center, Saturday, as senior guard  Mide Oriyomi hit a buzzer-beating shot in overtime to give the Rattlers their second SWAC win of the season.

The Rattlers held a 31-29 advantage at halftime, but so fell behind 55-48 in the fourth before going on a 5-0 run to shrink the deficit to 55-53 with 3:48. The Rattlers continued to rally as they outscored Alabama A&M 8-6 the rest of the way to tie it at 61-61 and send the game to overtime.
 
Men’s team drops another one
The Florida A&M men's basketball team lost 61-56 to the Alabama A&M Bulldogs (8-13,4-4) at home Saturday.
 
The Rattlers (3-16,1-7) trailed at the half 32-26 at the half, and never seemed to recover from there.
