FAMU has solidified its relationship with former NFL standout Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson  naming him an "Ambassador and Consultant" to the FAMU Athletics Department the university, announced Wednesday.

In this role, Johnson will participate in special projects to support and advance FAMU Athletics, as identified by the athletics director.

The six-time NFL Pro Bowler and four-time NFL All-Pro said, "I fell in love with FAMU after attending my first Classic in 1984 with my grandma, and the rest is history."

The Miami native has long spoken openly on his social media about his love for the FAMU Marching 100 and the FAMU Rattler football team.  Most recently, on Shannon Sharpe's  'Club Shay Shay Podcast, Johnson said "I haven't even gotten my degree, so when the time is right I'm going to FAM' and I'm going to join the band.  My grandma had me playing the saxophone and piano. I can play the sax and at some point, I can audition to be the drum major.

What does this mean?
Is Johnson likely to be relocating to Tallahassee? Not likely.
