Rattlers drop game 1 of baseball series with BCU 13-4

The FAMU baseball loss to its home series opener to the Bethune Cookman Wildcats 13-4 Friday. 

Th Rattlers trailed BCU 3-0 in the third inning before getting its first run.  FAMU didn’t score again until the 5^th inning to trail 3-2.

Bethune then added 3 runs in the 6^th,  2 runs in the 7^th and 5 runs in the 8^th to put the game away.  

The loss dropped the Rattlers to 22-24 (16-9 SWAC) on the season, while the Wildcats improved to 26-22 (16-7 SWAC).  The two teams meet again at 2 pm today at Moore-Kittles field in Tallahassee.
