The FAMU Rattler football team lost to the USF Bulls 38-24 on Saturday. The Bulls improved to 1-1 on the season while the Rattlers dropped to 1-1.
Jeremy Moussa led FAMU's passing attack with 374 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and three interceptions. Despite, having the advantage in totals offensive yards 393 to 342, the 5 turnovers --- 3 in the first quarter alone--- to USF’s zero seemed to be the real difference maker in the game.
The Rattlers were also unable to establish its running game recording just 19 yards rushing.
The Rattlers will take on the University of West Florida Argos this Saturday in its home opener in Bragg Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on HBCU-GO.
