The FAMU Rattlers put together a solid four quarter football game Saturday afternoon to defeat the Prairie View A&M Panthers 45-7. The victory, along with Alabama State’s win over Alabama A&M gave the Rattlers the outright SWAC East title and locked up a spot in the SWAC Championship Game.
Jeremy Moussa threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Moussa was aided by receiver Jah’Marae Sheread who collected four receptions for 76 yard and a touchdown.
In all, the Rattler offense accumulated an impressive 453 total yards, while the FAMU defense held the Panthers to 272 yards offensively.
