After a nail-biting 9-7 loss to Alabama State on Friday afternoon, the FAMU softball team bounced back with determination and vigor, clinching victories in both games of Saturday's doubleheader. In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Lady Rattlers triumphed over the Hornets with scores of 6-4 and 9-3, ultimately winning the series with a 2-1 record.
Despite facing initial setbacks, the softball team showcased resilience and composure, rallying together to secure crucial wins and maintain their position as the No. 1 team in the SWAC East.
Meanwhile, the FAMU baseball team asserted their dominance right from the start, delivering a commanding 10-2 victory over Alabama State on Friday. Undeterred by the opposition, the Rattlers continued their winning streak on Saturday, rolling to a convincing 9-4 victory over the Hornets.
With stellar pitching, solid defense, and explosive offense, the FAMU baseball squad showcased their prowess on the field, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.
