FAMU’s incoming freshman class of 2028, comprising 1,711 students, is a an academically talented group with an average grade point average (GPA) of 3.93. This class reflects the exceptional caliber of students joining the FAMU community.
Additionally, preliminary data indicates that FAMU’s incoming freshman outperformed 70% of their peers who took the ACT or SAT over the past year. The data also suggests that FAMU's incoming students are not only maintaining but also elevating the university's academic profile.
