The FAMU draft audit is now final, and guess what? It still shows a $10.4 million deficit. Earlier this week Castell & Co. told the Tallahassee Democrat that some numbers had been entered in error and that it would be corrected on the final document. The state Auditor General's final document, released today, doesn't reflect that at all. Apparently, Mrs. Bryant was either confused or, once again, deliberately attempted to mislead the public.

Its sad that I feel vindicated in those facts, because ultimately I don't want such bad news associated with FAMU. We need to get rid of her because people should not have to choose between rooting for the their alma mater and rooting against its leader who we belelieve is destroying FAMU.

(1) Where are the numbers she received that had the $8M surplus she announced ...
(2)Who supplied her with the numbers with the $8M surplus in the first place ... And are they still employed by the University?
(3) ... And if they are ... WHY?
BTW - The SCHOOL should ALWAYS take precedence over ANY PERSON ... No matter WHO the heck they are - or think they are!

ReplyDeleteHowever, if you guys believe that FAMU can survive no matter what...then you guys are smoking serious yang. It would not be hard under the present circumstances for the school to be wiped out because of this fraud perped on FAMU. I know we are all proud Rattlers and all, but if Anderson and Enron can go under so can good ole FAMU...we need to get rid of Castell before the public citizenry gets rid of us.
