FAMU and Bethune-Cookman officials are holding a press conference tomorrow in Orlando to announce the formation of the Florida Classic Consortium Corporation. The Corporation will manage and oversee all aspects of the Florida Classic game between FAMU and B-CC.
The press conference is Thursday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium, Varsity Club, in Orlando.
We understand that the use of the phrase "Florida Classic" is trademark protected and may only be used by both institutions, unless premission is otherwise granted.
Also, game tickets will go on sale from April 15 through June 30, 2006 for season ticket holders (both schools) only. Tickets will go on sale to the public July 1, 2006.
