Auditors Find Problems with FAMU's PeopleSoft System

State Auditors found 10 findings with FAMU's Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) from August 2005 to March 2006. Rather than summarize all of the problems here, we'll let you look at a summary of the report and the findings yourself. See FAMU PeopleSoft Financials System - Information Technology Audit Auditors completed the report on June 7, 2006. In particular, please see the interim president's response that begins on page 10.
While audit findings are always to be taken seriously, with regard to the Peoplesoft system, it seems the majority problems are procedural and easily rectified.

ReplyDeleteIn the current audit the auditor generals office is having difficulty getting information and documentation to complete the audit.
PeopleSoft Audit finding 1, cites -- " The University did not provide sufficient records and documentation to allow for a timely evaluation of certain IT controls related to the support of the University’s PeopleSoft Financials System."
What is wrong with these people? Why can't they turn over records and documentation when requested?
where is the President's response...although I don't care for the prez, its quite odd we cant see her response.

What is the CTO name? I thought he got fired and was replaced by someone name Beverly Barrington.
