Makes you wonder how early in the year FAMU "selected" the Hollins Group. The first line of the contract says they had already selected the firm prior to February 9, 2006 but then according to the timeline, didn't bother to let the state know until 2 weeks later.
Hey wasn't this contract signed in the midst of the previous SBI search committee's search process? Something just isn't right about this whole situation.
So Dr. Austin signed (and thereby accepted) the contract on February 18th, the same day she approved over $100,000 of payments to them, presumably for work they'd already done! I guess if your in with Jeb and Castell, laws and policies and procedures don't matter!
