UM to pay for 100 performance

FAMU was not planning to bring the legendary band to Miami because of budget constraints, according to UM senior associate athletic director Pete Garcia.

So Miami will cover an unspecified portion of the band's travel expenses, as well they should.

100 to march on UM

The Macon Telegraph, had the funniest paragraph concerning the daunting task that FAMU faces at Miami today. The Telegraph which used an associated press story ran the following , "When Florida A&M visits No. 17 Miami on Saturday night, the Rattlers will showcase some of the nation's best talent.

The football team is coming, too."
