The Rattler Football team (3-2, 1-1 in MEAC) returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play today, October 14 against league power South Carolina State University (2-3, 1-1 in MEAC) at 6:00 p.m. in Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee.
Coach Rubin Carter's club is coming off a much-needed bye week and will be out to extend its three-game win streak.
FAMU's final six regular season games will be conference affairs and the Rattlers aim to improve on their 5-3 conference mark in Carter's first season in 2005.

Florida A&M went to overtime to nip Tennessee State, 25-22 in Atlanta two weeks ago, while South Carolina State outslugged Norfolk State, 47-10 on Saturday...

This will be the 51st meeting between the two institutions, with FAMU leading SCSU, 32-15-3 in the series...
