Question 1: Is there enough information, based on what they've heard and the information they read to take a vote?

Lowe:

"Do you have enough information based on what you have been given or have heard today to have the vote today?"

Cardenas:

Yes. The search committee did a good job. The candidates have had three visits to campus. I feel like we have had a fully vetted process and I feel fulfilled.

Holmes:

I want to thank you madame chairman and everybody involved in the process. I pray and trust that we can move forward and try to ratify and have this vote today.

Diallo is giving a report on the campus site visits.



Diallo is still giving this report. It seems she spoke with everyone, including "chicken little!"

Charles Taylor of the Hollins Group is speaking on his background checks --- degree verifications, references, etc.

Everyone checks out OK.

The motion to vote today passes 12-1.

Cardenas says that TWO candidates stood out: Ammons and THOMPSON!! And moves that they only vote on those two.

Branker says her top two are Thompson & Johnson.

They are voting on all three candidates now. If one candidates gets 7 votes that candidate is the winner. Otherwise, they will vote on the top two vote getters.
