Kellye Garrett, a FAMU journalism graduate (c/o 2000), recently (we're talking last week) joined the team of CBS Televison's Cold Case series as a staff writer.

Garrett said she's very excited about this project, "I've had this dream (of writing for a TV show) for a while now and am still a bit shocked that it's finally coming true."

Cold Case is a crime drama about Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris), a dedicated female detective in the Philadelphia homicide squad. The show airs each Sunday at 9 pm and is the number one rated show in its time frame.
