Amery Moultry, a 1999 FAMU education technology graduate, is capturing the world from behind the lens of his camera.

Moultry, who's father placed a camera in his hands at the age of seven, got his start photographing family events and his travel experiences. However, he says, his creativity wasn't challenged until he studied black and white photography at FAMU. Moultry said, FAMU helped him fall in love with the art of photography and it quickly became more than a hobby. After completing his studies at FAMU and earning a masters in communications from the University of Iowa, Moultry created ALMo Studios, a photography and web design house based in New York City.

With partners in Miami, Atlanta, and DC ALMo Studios continues to grow in clientele and popularity.

Amery has photographed, celebrities, CD covers, merchandise, events, and fashion shows. His work has been published in LA Confidential, Ocean Drive, AM New York, Mother Daughter and HX Magazine.
