Keith Miles, director of radio and television at Florida A&M University, has been awarded a 2007-08 National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation Fellowship for the school's Broadcast Leadership Training Program.

The program is targeted to senior-level broadcast managers of proven ability who aspire to advance as group executives or station owners. The program begins Sept. 14 at the National Association of Broadcasters headquarters in Washington, D.C., and continues in an executive MBA-style program meeting one weekend a month for 10 months. Miles, a 2004 graduate of the National Association of Broadcasters Executive Development Program held at Georgetown University, is general manager of WANM-FM 90.5 and was named the 2006 Black College Radio Station Manager of the Year.

NAB “is just the premier training and a great opportunity for those wanting to become television- and radio-station owners,” Miles said.
