Sharon Saunders and her team hit the ball running yesterday. They did a phenomenal job of planning the entire day. Having the Chancellor and a few representatives there was strategic and very very smart. Having him with meeting all stakeholders was excellent.
In regards to Barbara Barnes getting appointed the Interim Provost, I would like to express my disgust by using the words of Florida Evans after James funeral== "Damn. Damn. Damn."
Nothing is going to change at FAMU. It is the same usual suspects collecting a big fat paycheck from the state. Meanwhile the university graduates 30 percent in 6 years, accepts too many remedial students and just plain fails to up hold academic standards.
Stop accepting students that need to going to Community College first.
