Saturday's Atlanta Football Classic XIX between Florida A&M and Tennessee State will be televised live by Fox Sports South (formerly Turner Sports South) - the first of three straight football telecasts for the Rattlers.
•The Atlanta game will air, starting at 3:00 p.m. in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Carolinas (North and South), but not in Florida.
Only satellite service subscribers in Florida will be able to view the game on Saturday.
•The October 6 Coca-Cola Circle City Classic will be televised nationally on satellite and cable via the NFL Network, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
•The October 13 South Carolina State game will be televised on a taped delay basis by ESPNU. The game can be viewed on satellite and most cable systems (except Comcast services).
Ofcourse, FAMU's final game versus Bethune-Cookman, the Florida Classic, will be televised on one of the ESPN networks.
This free national football publicity is a true coup. I hope we can some how get Dr. Ammons' recruitment commercials aired during these games.
